fellow wavers, I can't figure this one out, here's my prob.....
I modeled a mudding tire. I need it to exaggerate when it's in motion, like skew away from the motion it's going. You see the effect in cartoons all the time and i really wanted to simulate this effect in LW. So far i've made a base and top null to control a sheer deformer on the tire and it create just the effect i wanted.
Next, i made the top_null control the tires squash and stretch too,so i wouldn't have to keyframe that part as well. So far so good. now i go to animate the actual tire rotating and the rotation of the tire happens after the sheer deformer. so my tire ends up floppin around all over the place.
does anyone have any suggestions of how to fix this? or get the effect i want another way?
here's a copy of the scene

thanks,
Bruce
