Looks good, how does it react when you add a collision object?

Hey.
DragonChild: Thanks.

Riki: I agree. I was just messing around trying new things ya' know.

Wizlon: I thought some folks might think its HV but it's not.
It's just a mesh using a null reference and bump displacement. Renders really fast too. I also think for certain types of water it offers a little more control. Might be good for rivers. If people are interested I might do a short tut on it. :)

Looks good I like the way you get it to flow around curves. Be cool to see this in a river bead but for five minutes it a great job.

Howzitgoineh?,
Unfortunately a job just came in. Should be fun. I have to put together a crime scene, so I don't have time for a tut right now. But I won't leave you hangin'. Here are two scenes. One done with bump displacement, and one using normal displacement. The latter can slow your system but offers more choices in surfacing in that you can have a different displacement map than your bump channel.
Maybe in 8 they could give bump displacement it's own texture button because it seems to work faster than normal displacement.
Any questions just ask here I'll see if i can't answer them.
Take it easy.
