When I installed the latest patch, SR 5.5 stopped working for me. I had no problem with SR 5.5 until then. SR starts but I get error messages that it is unable to open the playback device or it does not support realtime playback.
I installed the 3rd Party support.
VT Framebuffer is listed in editing preferences as usual. Preferences look right in VT preferences also.
Anyone have suggestions on this one?
Thanks

I don't know, but it does work for me with the latest patch. (With the exception of AVI wrapped files from the VT. They crash SR.)
Some of us have had to drop back to VT2. If you want Boris to work with Speed Razor, so I've heard.

Drop back to VT2? I'm just getting comfortable with T3!
And here I have just received in-Sync's latest notice, reminding me that suppport for version 4 is EOL at the end of the year.
Are you guys happy with 5.5? Very happy? Ecstatic??
I like Boris and FilmFX so, for me, it's having the plug-in support in T3 that appeals to me most. But aside from that, does Razor elevate T3's editing capabilites far beyond the $499 upgrade price? TED seems to be to do the job... once I get used to it's new workflow...

I use SR 5.5 for MPEG 2 rendering for DVD. That's it.

It works well, for that! It is very high quality, if you do enough passes. Takes forever...

Why wouldn't you just use TMPGEnc? It's much cheaper and works as a plugin within T3.
I don't have it, but it would seem that many people around here use it.

I've tried it and found it much more difficult to get good results with.
