DVE icon images

Hello,

I upgraded to VT3 but i have noticed that the dve icon images in some dve folders do not display. I just get a black image on the icon.

The preview plays though.

I reinstalled the dve's from the cdrom's but no difference.

What gives?

Do i need to reinstall VT3? If so what is the procedure? Do i have to uninstall VT3 than reinstall?

I've been struggling with that very problem since I first started with VT2. I've been round and round and even with the fresh VT3 install I still have a few different wipes that don't display an icon in the filebin, but most are ok these days, unlike the many I had problems with before. Can't find any reason for this. I've been through content reintalls, deletion and reinstall, and complete software & content reinstalls. What's weird is that most times, the icons are for effects I've never even used before. The icons just are not being read properly. I've noticed other people having similar problems, but since it's not catastrophic I doubt many take issue with it. I bet if everyone did a filebin check through their effects folders, there would be many people chime in as well.
