crawling images

Hi,

Is there any way to reduce the edge crawling on stills that are being panned, sized, etc., in a documentary style video? The images are .jpg and .tif.

I've tried the HoldStill effect, but that stops all movement - I
still want to move the images across the screen, or to slowly come in on them.

If you want just one feild and not have it jitter between the two feilds then jsut ake it into Aura- Filter-Video-Fix Motion, and I think you jsut hit apply it should work. If it doesn't there's 3 settings so you can try each one.

David, are they scanned images? If so at what resolution? WHen I am planning on zooming in or panning a still I scan at least 300 DPI, higher if your are starting with a smaller image and want to zoom in far.

Thanks for the help. Turns out it was the resolution of the files. I scaned at a higher rate (150), and the crawlies went away.

Try checking the "Hi Res" box in the positioner.
