Hello all,
I am trying to animate a banner that is going to fly in over a logo. what I want is for it to appear as if wind is blowing the banner in over my other text /logo geometry. I have been trying to use motion designer, but it is not giving me the effect taht I am going for. I was toying around with the idea of animateing with bones or possiby endomorph animation. does anybody know of a good tutorial to acheive this effect or at a minimum have a solution.
Please help.

There are MD tutorial on Newtek site that discuss waving flag, and also if you type in Lightwave Tutorials in google the first link will get you to a major site of tutorials. Also never use the wind and gravity that is in the current MD as it is limited. use the FXWind and FXGravity to get you the desired effects, and if you use grouping you can have different effects for different objects without getting winds crossed between the two.

Also there is a video tutorial that Lee did I think on MD that does basic MD. Motion Designer 2: Secrets Of The Wind by Lee Stranahan you can find it
