Dealing with eyes fitting into non-spherical sockets.
What a PITA. I've seen demos of LW users using various techniques to achieve "boolean surfaces", and wondered if it could be applied to "the eye problem. Could it be arranged that any part of the eyeball that penetrated the 'skin' be made non-rendering?
Then you could stick any shape eye you like in there.
