i have some video sequences from final cut pro (.mov) that i am trying to load into the image tab. for some reason they will not load. i have tried converting these videos to hell and back to find a format it will take but no luck.
what are the baseline requirements for LW 9.6 to accept video?
and do i have to load codecs somewhere, and if so where?
thank you for any help you can give me.

Are you using a 64-bit machine with a 64-bit LightWave? If so, you can blame Apple for not having made a 64-bit Quicktime for Windows. Otherwise any video format that uses DirectShow should be loadable in LightWave.

Quick Time will work on a x64 machine using LW x32 you could install LW x32 and load the .mov into it and convert to an image sequence or an uncompressed .avi.
