Hi,
I am working with SpeedEDIT on a Tricaster Model 300. I am having issues imputing DVEs. Either I am missing an important step or the software is being glitchy. For example, I will be putting clips together in SpeedEDIT, and it will let me put a cross fade between the first two clips. The fades look great. Then further into the same project, I try to put the same fade in between other clips, and it will put the fade in, but I just see black between the clips with no fade; or it will put the fade in the video and audio tracks; or it puts the fade in with a .02 second duration even though I told it 1 second when inserting, and I have only used 1 second fades the entire project. I have even tried several different ways of inserting DVEs; via Tool Shed, [Alt] + F then replacing with the DVE I want to use, even drag and drop from the Filebin. I just can’t get SpeedEDIT to consistently insert DVEs.
I am still learning the software, so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is there any chance you have "Overlay" selected on any of the clips that present this issue?

Hi!

Thanks for the reply. I just got SpeedEDIT to insert a wipe into a new project. I am going to go back to my old project (that I was having all the issues with) and make sure Overlay is off.
I will post back soon and let you know if everything is still working properly.

Thanks again!
