Maybe someone has already gone through this issue and solved it. I want to load some third party plug-ins into LW 9.6 64 bit. My PC is running Vista 64. As those of you who run a similar setup will know, you have to shut off the "UAC", User Account Control switch in order to run LW properly.

I don't know if this has anything to do with but when I try to load something like, 'plg_Pack_UV_Chart', I get an error message stating that the external plug-in cannot be loaded.

Tried doing this with the UAC switched on, switched off, etc.

Anybody have any clues. Just finished unwrappingflattening a trout model by hand. What an ordeal. This plug-in is supposed to be great at that.

Help! Thanks.

You're trying to add the 64 bit version of the plug-in right? 32 bit versions won't load into 64 bit.

Thanks nickdigital. I think that's the problem too. Can't be anything else. All others are working fine. I'll check to see if there is a 64 bit version.

Rats! That wasn't the problem. It was a 64 bit plug-in that I was trying to add to a 64 bit LW 9.6 on a Vista 64 OS. Must be something else. . . but what?

Waiting on a response from Newtek tech support. Plug-in looks to be rather old, from 2006. Maybe there is an issue due to it's age. . . except Vista has been around since then.

Anybody else have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It works on XP and Win7 so I'd be surprised it's a Vista issue. All your other plg plug-ins work right?

Have you tried re-downloading it? Maybe the file itself is corrupt.
