For me to install vue 9 has a plugin for lightwave 10 was ... impossible!!
Vue can't find the lightwave 10 application. Well of course, there's no lightwave.exe in there!!
And yes I updated my vue 9 application, still can't install in lightwave 10. Any advice, if I change the name of let see,.. layout, would it affect the software itself?? Please help!!!:help:

Hi,
During the install process of Vue 9, you can select where are the directories of LW 9.3.1, 9.6 and LW 10. You need to redirect it manually to the base directory of each LW installation (do not select the Programs directory).
The VUexStream7.p plugin will be installed on Plugins/Utility directory inside of each LW installation.

Is there a reason that I'm finding a hundred Vue 9 Xstream "plugins" in my utility menu in Lightwave 10? They are labeled like this:
Vue_xStream_Cmd101
Vue_xStream_Cmd102
Vue_xStream_Cmd103
Vue_xStream_Cmd104
Each one is a function for Vue but I have no main Vue 9 plugin. Help!

There is a CFG file to sort all that out, you need to load that in and then all those will be named correctly

John, please pardon my ignorance as I sincerely don't know what the "CFG" file is. Where is it? How do I configure the CFG file to make sure the plugins don't appear as they currently do. I've done a few installs now and I keep getting the same results.

Has anyone sorted this out? What is the cfg file you need to fix the hundreds of vue plugins that are listed in LW10. Can't see a vue menu anywhere after installing the plugins.

In your vue apps directory drill down to lightwave. The cfg file is there. This file gets loaded in menu preferences in lightwave.
