can't get arial bold in text tool

I need to use arial bold but it doesn't appear in the list of fonts - only arial 400 which is too light and arial black 900 which is too heavy. I'm using Windows 7

It's possibly because LightWave only supports TrueType fonts and Windows 7 uses OpenType now and the weight of Arial you want only exists in that format?
