Beginner Question - Making a parent

Ok i am working right trough a tutorial, and all is going fine, readu ing the book, but how can i make my NULL point a parent of my light?
Which buttons or actions, i can not find it

Doing it from the schematic window's even easier...

select obj which want to parent, hit "m" and in panel Motion Option select in the upper zone where you read "parent to" the obj which you want to be the father of selected obj.
If you want do a dynamic parent (parenting for limited time) you can use under motion modifier the plug in called parenter.
i suggest to try with two null to understand the working of this option.
