Are there resources how to work lw models into second life?
I'm interested with content creation and selling them online.

til i know second life work with "prims" some kind of primitives (spheres, toroids ,cubes, piramids)this elements allows you navigate in stages without a sensible downloading time, all the buildings are made of them(another advantage is that prims have included collisions and other scripts). So one method to get a model is grouping this prims.
Another is that u can use the primitive called "sculpted prim" that basically is cylinder with a mix of normal-displacement map aplied (rgb bitmap).is less efficient and require a bitmap and credits to upload.
Exist a script (lsl script) made by Dstorm that basically import an .lwo object an made a trace with prims of it ,gropuping all.I find relatively annoying that all this process need to be done inside the second life enviroment.
Sincerely i think that is more room in clothes than in other props, speking artistically.

Thanks I will look into the dstorm plugin.
I hope its possible to import more complex models with sculpted prism.
