Seems good to me, whats the max ram this board can take, i see it has 4 slots. Reason i say is 8gb is the minimum you should have, it will work with less but not as fast.

If you can get a board that will take 12 or more ram would be better.

But your setup as stated is enough to run LW10.

One recommendation if you can afford it. Get a second internal HD. Put all your data onto it. Then if you need to reformat and install windows, you can without the worry of loosing data.
If you can't you can stil partion the main drive, but its better if you have the seconds drive.
Also if you don't have an external get one.

I would go to 16GB if you can or a board that if it has support for 16GB but if price is an issue right now and it has 4 slots for dimms, get two 4GB dimms and hold off until later on the rest.
Also I have a feeling you may want to go with a 750w PSU.
Does this board have dual SLI pci-e 16x lane slots?
If so thats why I suggest you go with a more powerful PSU should you choose to drop another GTX580 in there.
A 650w PSU will be fine for now so long as you don't attach too much HDD action to it with that card currently.

Whats the price tag on something like this? all in before tax?

I don't need to SLI the GTX 580 and my HDD is only for my working files, the OS is on the SSD with applications. I'll pass to 16 Gb RAM after, for now it's only to render pictures, no animation so i think it's ok with 8

Thanks for comments!!

Yup, certainly 2x4GB DDR-3s.

If you're not overclocking:
You don't really need the 1600MHz ones, 1333Mhz, is perfectly fine.
The "K" CPU is also a little bit overkill, it only has a higher clock on the GPU (which will be disabled in your case anyhow) and allows for easier overclocking.

I'd also get a 2TB drive instead of the 1TB (make sure it has three and not four platters).

Cheers,
Mike
