I am experimenting with an idea of having a growing flower. I have now idea on how to approach this.

At this point I just want to concentrate on the stem. The only thing I can think of is to use the endomorphs and have the stem grow in steps. I attempted to do this but it left me with very little control since the endomorph points only move in a straight line, at least from my understanding.

Is there any other way to achieve this. I read somewhere you can morph physical objects. Would this be a solution. Any direction on this would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

try using morph targets instead of morph mixer - model the start of the 'growth', save it as the 1st target, then stretch it to the next height and save as the 2nd, etc. You have to keep the same # and order of points, so no slicing, cutting or pasting when you make all the tagets: the first target will have to be dense enough to stretch to the finished growth without adding anything.

It looks like morph mixer will work too - In the "Meni" folder in the LW content dir. there is a walk cycle done entirely with MorphMixer (meni/freak/people/drone.lwo)
