View Full Version : Odd Numeric Display In The Graph Editor
I have been having a graph editor display issue all through V9.0 and its carried over in to v10. The numeric value displays along the top and left side of the graph editor are using a strange number pattern with odd characters included. I spoke with tech support about it 3 times. First person told me it was a Windows 7 setting. Second told me it was a setting in Lightwave. The third was honest enough to tell me they didn't know. I'm guessing it is a settings issue, but so far I've had no luck correcting it. I've attached an image to better explain the issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Try looking in this thread:

:-)
Thanks for posting that thread link. It does appear to be the same problem, but I tried the suggested solution....even tried shutting down the firewall entirely... and it was still a no-go. Another poster there mentioned it may be an issues with ATI display cards and I do have an ATI, so that might be the problem.

Hmm, strange. I have an ATI card and have not come across the problem. Seems strange that the GPU could change what characters the video rendering subsystem was displaying.
Seems more likely to be an OS / missing font issue?
Tried raising a ticket with Newtek?

I wouldn't forget about ensuring you have the latest drivers to support whatever video card is in your computer. After all, it's the driver's responsibility to interpret how it is to display the information the CPU passes to it.
