Hi all,

NT have fixed item referencing when saving id's to a file, and so I've gone through my lscripts and updated them to use straight IDs instead of the dodgy things I did to try to keep things working. Now they should work perfectly loading or loading from scene.

I haven't uploaded them yet, because I have to decide something.

I cleaned out a lot of garbage code so they won't load the item references from the old versions.

However, they should load the other settings, people will just have to select the correct referenced items again. This will of course break older scenes, but you couldn't guarantee loading them into a scene would work anyway.

If I upload them as separate named plugins, old scenes won't use them and you'll have to set up ALL the settings again if you want to replace the older dodgy plugins with the new reliable plugins.

What do people think? It's either have them load all settings except the item references, or have them as entirely separate so people will have to set all the settings up again, but older scenes will still work with no hassle.
The plugins concerned are Springythingy, wheelie, muscle, stretch compensator (make stretchy) and LayersMC.

Are people using them that much that I should care what you think? :) Or am I the only one so I can do what I like?

I, personally don't use those, but I think that it's great that you're asking. And all of your plugins are really great!

We can always keep a copy of the old plugin. Make the new one as good as it can be :)

I should have perhaps mentioned that NT fixed the ID issue with 9.6, or maybe 9.5 (I don't have that installed to test) so the newer versions of my plugins will work with the current release.

Thank you for this update, it's really kind of you.
Consider mantaining older versions available online for some time.

I'm on the two versions wagon & cheers again for some awesome plugins Mike. I'd be lost (literally for hours) without Images to Planes - one of my favs

I care! (In pathetic 'Luke Skywalker' voice.)

Keep up the great work Mike. I'm always finding new ways to use your plug-ins.
