I'm looking for a way to construct scene geometry in LW from my Syntheyes exports. I can place trackers in syntheyes in strategic places to say...outline a wall. With the trackers in LW I would like to use these as helpers to build shadow catchers etc.

I thought I could save the nulls in LW as LW modeler points, and in modeler build up my geometry from these. The nulls wont save as objects though. I know LW has a snap function but this only works to snap an objects centre to the null. The modeler tools available in LW just don't cut it.

How do you guys do it?

PS: I can easily construct scene geometry in softimage [not a dig at LW] but importing this into LW is error prone as the scale of the softimage generated geometry is totally different.

Try Nulls To Points

LW Versions: 7.5, 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.2, 9.5
Hope it works with 9.6.. if not, some coder can help?

Can you export geometry from SynthEyes btw?

Thanks for that. The geometry does not come into LW for me, however it does come into modo using the syntheyes to mode perl script. I could look at buliding the geometry inside modo and exporting to LW.
