I recently got a new box with Windows 7 and now when LW tells me it can't find a file and I go get it the file requester doesn't display the full name of the file I'm searching for unless I click in the file text field. Is there a fix for this? It's rather annoying.

Got Windows 7 and never had that issue. I have auto updates turned off because I've had nasty experiences in the past with their auto updates breaking things, so maybe it's in a later version?

I've the same issue but it doesn't bother me. One thing I do find annoying is when your searching in a pop-up list in LW, LW hides and you have to press the icon on the taskbar again to get your windows back. Does any one have this stupid win7 behavior also?

It bothers me cause I can't remember what the heck I was looking for! :D
And yes I do have that same behavior when searching through a pop up list, that one drives me insane! I'm kind of wishing to have XP back.

Haha I have no memory at all, I also forget what I was looking for in 5 seconds. Thats a big plus for MAC, it's on top of the window and you can't accidentally remove it. But the full name is in there you just have to "scroll/scrub" to the left or what ever you have to call it.

Had that on Vista too. Do you guys have a nvidia card?

I Heard that has to do with Nvidia, but am not sure about that.

Now on 7 I have same "hide" problem.

For me if I just put the mouse cursor in the field and click full name shows up. PITA!
