Yeah, I just read that in Barnes and Noble the other day. It has an article about Newtek debuting Lightwave 8 at Siggraph and talks about most of the features that we saw there. Nothing too new there but it showed a screenshot or two that I hadn't seen before (although, it did put a disclaimer in there saying basically that the interface could be totally different by the time that Lightwave 8 is released later this year). Quite a big piece on TLOEG.

the october issue is now out in the u.k and has full free carrara 1.1 and amapi 5.3..if those don't put you off 3d nothing will!

geez i remember dream3d that came with coreldraw6..that was based on raydrem3d and almost killed my "dreams" of making 3d models..i re named it nightmare 3d!

also in oct issus is a review of the apple g5..looks pretty good.
