Modeler quits on cut or copy (XP)

Hi,

1) Modeler has been quitting when either cutting or copying a couple of poly's. Is there a pref file that should be trashed? Its driving me nuts.

2) Annoying but not a killer, my cursor (in Modeler) is stuck displaying a cross hair, regardless of the tool in current use. The tools work fine, its just annoying that I can't tell if the tool is active, been dropped or changed. Any clever hints to this will also be most appreciated.

Hi Dan,

On Win 2K the prefs, (.cfg files), are in 'Documents and Settings' and your user name on that system. I think it is probably in the same place on XP.

Thanks for your quick reply and thanks for directing me toward the config file. I am mainly a Mac user, so where Lightwave places the config file on the PC was a bit of a mystery.

Can't imagine what the problem might be as I've never experienced it -- but the sanity check on the .cfg files would be to copy them to another location, delete the "originals", then see if you can still reproduce the problem.

(Then of course, you can restore the .cfg files from the copy location)
