Anandtech have a Preview on the Sandy Bridge CPU. Those who think they can wait a bit longer before upgrading should have a look.

Yeah great. Thanks to Intel there will be even more people now that think that they can run anything with OpenGL on a cheapo laptop with Intel integrated graphics.
No matter how FAST Intels GPU get, their biggest problems will always be their drivers. They STILL, to this date, have not managed to support OpenGL2.0 correctly.

It looks nice and cheaper than the current CPU's, I find it lame that I can't upgrade my CPU to this new level because the motherboard has to be replaced. Oh well, the 980X will become cheaper probably, I'll get me one of those instead then.

The others will come down in price as vendors will clear their stock. I will get myself a nice 970 then :)
Should do just as well.
I do have to say though that the FP performance of the new CPUs is nothing to be ashamed of. I just wished that Intel would fainaly manage to get their GPUs some better drivers. What they have delivered so far is shameful, shameful, I say!
