Flatland [many dimensions]
is an abstract picture freely inspired by E. A. Abbott's "Flatland" romance.

Very neat! I notice the reflection does not match the object, I assume this was intentional. Was it done in post or are we really seeing transparency rather than a reflection?

thanks and note that reflection really match the object (no post-processing nor transaprency);
I achieved this effect only using a proper illumination!
Take a look

Hmmmm, weird. This is what I meant. They look all curly here, but not on the model.

You know, could it be you are using a procedural on the reflection channel?

mattclary...
sorry for the delay and the misunderstanding!
A little trick: reflections are curly due to a little amount of Bump on the "plane-surface"!
Really simple and effective! ;)
Bye.

Yep, that's what I thought :)
You've got a good eye Matt. I wouldn't even of noticed the curliness in the reflections if you hadn't of pointed it out.
