Hello. We're in need of one or two guys to work on some environments. In some cases, we have nothing but a previz layout and some elements that you may or may not want to work with. In other cases, we have roughed in scenes that need revision/clean-up/improvement. There is pay, but not 'big money'. I've hired many people from the forum community for this project already, and I'm sure they will all vouch for us as a cool project with a perfect track-record for paying what is agreed upon.

Candidates will need to work within polygon and render time limitations. Additionally, you'll be expected to use LW9.3.1 for final renderable layouts; I know that 9.6 is wonderful - but for many reasons, it is not practical for this project. And, finally, we've been using alot of HDInstance and Sasquatch, so it will be helpful if you are familiar with those tools.

The overall style is not exactly 'photo realistic', but it is not 'Jimmy Neutron' simple either. Somewhere in the middle would do, leaning more toward photo realistic if I had to choose one or the other.

Please send me a PM with some info about yourself and your availability, as well as links to relevant work.

Looking forward to working with you.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we're still accepting submissions/inquiries. We've had several skilled and talented applicants, but I'm hoping to find someone with a portfolio showing more environment work and maybe in more colorful styles; so far, most of what we've received is very technical and very clean archviz style renders - but we're really chasing a more stylized look for the project. We've also seen several very colorful and creative character model portfolios - which is awesome to see - but we're not currently looking for anyone to work in that capacity.

There must be at least a couple guys out there who like to create colorful and stylish environments?

Positions are filled for the moment. For those who applied but did not receive a reply, I'll hang onto your information and may be in touch if things don't work out with the current crew. Thanks again, everybody.
