I'm trying to do some testing, and it would be great to have a node that would display the RGB numeric color info visually inside the node editor - but I don't seem to be able to find one?
Try Ken Nign's Input Spy node.

For numeric info, you could use the screen option of SG_CCPicker as well.

Input spy is SO useful, it will show scalar, colour, vector and integer information from any flat value (i.e. feeding anything with a gradient or texture is going to not work is it! :D)
Great way to work out what value a node group is producing, such as gamma modified colours or complex maths operations.
