I called lightwave but they were unable to help me so I thought someone out there might have some ideas.
Whenever I hit f12 to switch between modeler and layout, I usually have to press it four or five times before it responds. And that is only when I launch both programs seperately. If I were to just launch one of the programs and try f12 the other will not automatically launch as it should.
I'm running Lightwave 7.5c on Windows xp.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Tony

I don't know what much else to say but with my 1.3 ghz system, when switching to either Layout or Modeler via the F12 button, it takes awhile to load. But when they both are already open and connected via the Hub, they load fast. I'm assuming that it just takes awhile depending on your system for the Hub to load up and connect. Try pressing F12 only once, and see if it eventually loads, it may just take a couple of seconds.

Thanks for the info.
I tried it but it still doesn't work. (What I mean by that is If I do not have both applications running, then the hub doesn't launch the other application at all).
I also run lightwave on my mac and have never had this problem which is strange to me because I thought that lightwave had more bugs on the mac.
I have even tried reinstalling lightwave and that didn't do much either.
I'm guessing that not a lot of people have run into this problem, but does anyone have any ideas?

R u running some kind of Firewall, because that could affect LW to communicate through the Hub.
It did with me and some other people.
If ur running Norton® Personal Firewall then check this out:
