coffee maker part 2

i though i'd "kill 2 birds with one stone" so to speak..in that i decided to make the coffee maker model that's demoed as a avi tutorial in lightwave and also take a look at that tutorial on porcilane surfaces....so i made the model and surfaced it using the
surfacing tutorial ....

anyway i need to as the job i'm after at the moment is for a visualsation POS company so i need to make some "products"....

oh..rendered it out on my sgi 320..a dual 450PII...took 20mins

length of the shadows (incorrectly casting visual cues of a 'bench' in the background) disturb the aesthetics of the (reflective) lighting effects.

'copper' coloured hotplate? not sure it works with the cool hues of the scene.
