Hey guys ive been playing around with lightwave and layout for a while now, about 2-3 months.

Ive finally made a pretty good cannon and im planning on animating it shooting. It'll be plasma though im having trouble making it look good, im using hyper voxels and i just cant seem to get it to work.

I also cant seem to get it to move in an arc form while having a short trail of plasma behind it, can anyone give me some help/tips/suggestions on what i can do?

Regards ~ Kisa

Edit: damn i posted in the wrong area, if someone could move this or delete it much more regards >.<

plasma comes in all shapes and sizes, neon signs, lightning, corona, fire, sun etc. Do you have any reference in mind?

A cannon firing plasma, like a huge glob of it smashing into a ship and destroying it.

The kind of plasma seen shot by these space marines: Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAQlFSh6LiQ)

Ive been playing around with particles and hypervoxels and so far ive been able to create this:
84561

Ive used a gradient with several shades of blue, now im not sure how i could make the trail behind it and the lightning effect of when it hits something, also how i could improve on the hypervoxel so far
