When I capture, the audio and video go to the same drive, same folder. Should I be capturing the audio on a dedicated audio drive while the video goes to a dedicated video drive? If so, where is the setting to do this.

When recording a video clip with audi, leave the video and audio exactly where it is! You don't want them on seperate drives. In fact I believe that if you are using the DV codec the video and audio are interleaved, so you couldn't seperate them if you wanted to.

Now I do have a seperate audio drive for songs I use for music as beds when creating a clip. Mainly so I'm not putting as much demand on the main drives as otherwise I would be.

Thank you. I recall Speed Razor used dedicated drives, a dedicated audio drive was always recommended, and so I thought that was the way it was supposed to be and I was missing something. I will continue to use the dedicated audio drive for sound effects and music like you mentioned, but will keep the captured steams together.

this will be a nice feature to add in the future VT3 patch release!
