Can you use VT5 templates in a Tricaster?

I am creating a template with the CG designer in VT5, the template will need to be used in a first version TriCaster. Any suggestions or workflows?

VT title templates work great in TriCaster Pro and higher but using version 2.5 and not sure about previous versions of TriCaster.

Maybe someone else knows?
