This came about from trying to simply or make quicker the
character animation and modeling process.

I was thinking about the MAX biped dude.
So I made my own "reusable rig and mesh" instead of
having to start from scratch each time.

if you have any questions or suggestions on how it can be better
let me know.

I know the body isn't muscular and defined because it is also designed
for Zbrush as well. I figured it would be easy to let people download
different displacement maps to change the design of the character.

Looks pretty good in theory, but for $100, people should really be able to test it out first...I just can't imagine that anyone is going to pay $100 for a rig without first hand experimentation - especially from a developer that has never developed anything before...

I'm not saying it doesn't look cool, but where are the complex motion tests? Making static poses is one thing, full complex motion is another. And, even with many complex motion videos, people are still going to want to try it for themselves before parting with $100.

I would suggest releasing it free as a beta, then use feedback from the community to make it perfect before adding a price-tag.

Either way, good luck!

don't know how i could let people Beta test it without
giving away the product. :D

I do understand the fact that this is my first development.
I plan to do a animation with him but still how could i let people test it.
maybe a respected animator/rigger can give it a good test.

It will enough seems to me of animation series of examples of work of a plug-in....

OFF may be correct that a large selection of animation samples could go a long way toward convincing people to spend their hard earned money, but I think there will still be big questions about speed of interaction inside layout with any given users' specific machine, ease of adjustment to the rig, fun factor when working with the rig, etc...

Those guys at Maestro were able to make a working demo of their rig and rig controller with a built in expiration date, so it seems that it can be done...

I'm supportive of what you're doing, but just trying to give you an idea of the hurdles you will face when marketing something to a community that has a very diverse group gathered with very different machines specs and different skill levels/sets...without a first hand test of the tool in question, no quantity of videos will really tell me everything I need to know about what you're promoting...

Good luck!
