well it's time to rebuild it, if you look at my avatar pic it was done in 5.6 when my skill level was a bit lack lusster, and now that i have some free time i've decided to cleam it up an and redo it for the more updated features.
My goals are
1. make it cell-shaded to match the anime that i'm basing it upon.
2. use IK and expressions to add things like moving cables and armor that react to other parts (maybe hard body dynamics, i should be at that stage)
3. get rid of all the bad modeling techniques i used 5 years ago.
i'm up to the hips
spent 3 saturday nights on it so far.

Looking good Maimo.
A look at your original one would actually be cool. It's sometimes nice to see how far you (and people in general) have come. We all had to start somewhere

Mychael,
That's a great looking Zaku so far. Is it supposed to be the the MS-06R 1A variant?
I have that model kit and what you're making looks a lot like the model I have.
It looks great so far. Keep up the great work.

Speaking of which, do you know anywhere i could get good source images/blueprints for mecha from the gundam universe? So far I have been trying to work from just images from shows or from websites, but it would be a lot better to have orthographic images, know where to get any?
