This one is a bit unusual, the entire set is the B Source but it's mapped using a UV Map. Attached are two examples, one using a straight bamboo texture and the other painted a bit in photoshop so that different parts of the set come out different colors. Also works with video, try any animated texture you have, digital juice, clouds. If you want to get really nuts, take the output of your XD and run it into an input and then choose that as your B Source, that'll blow your mind.
As with the last one it's on the free set download page of www.virtualset.com, you need to enter your email and click submit and then click the link in the email it sends you.
Also attached is a not quite free set, CyberChess. It's free, but only if you buy a set :)
This set was designed from scratch to show off the XD's ability, in as much, I also refer to it in house as Tour de Tricaster. It features glass and metal chess pieces which refract and reflect the talent and b source. I also set it up so that it has multiple talent in different places, ie you can have 2 people in disparate parts of the set. It's also set up so the edge of the chromakey source ends behind a chess piece so you can step behind one chess piece and come out in a different part of the set from behind another, a little magic trick so to speak. The real innovation here is when I got thinking about adding animation to the set, sure there's camera motion but if you want moving elements...? So I borrowed 25% of the B Source to lay down some animation to play in the scene and then used a UV Map to route the parts of the B Source I wanted to different parts of the scene. You can't see it in this picture because... it's a picture but all the blue in the set is animated with moving lines and numbers. Best of all 75% of the B Source is still left over for you to put your own video into, right now I put a looping animation of a chess set into the monitor but you can replace it with your own with a little work.
If you need something to show off you Tricaster, this certainly does the trick.
Also, I put up a post about how we've finished converting volumes 4, 5, 6, and 7 for use with the Tricaster XD, that's 80 virtual sets. http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108108
