Hey gang,
Just thought I'd pass this on to the community. One of my classes just finished taping our first TV show. It's a game show called "Tic Tac Toe X-treme!"
Rather than explain the show, I'll just let you watch it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TspVq790H7o
Our setup includes a TC Broadcast for main program switching. The game board is controlled by LiveText. The actual monitor on the set is controlled by an older Panasonic video mixer. One of the mixer inputs is the preview output of the Tricaster, but it is set to FX bus. The mixer allows us to mix from game board, a DVD motion background, and true program output from the TC.
We had a few technical goofs in this one. The next episode should include some more graphical components, including a scorebox. We were shorthanded so some of the graphics didn't find their way in. Allin all, I'm really proud of the students for pulling this off!
LiveText was giving us some problems, you'll notice the screen goes blank every so often. I've submitted the problem to Newtek.
Hope you enjoy watching!
