Is there a way to change the settings with Reduce Polys + tool to change the model to quads instead of triangles when reducing model. From reading the manual it seems it cannot be done. Any plug-ins out there that can do it?

Not the I know of. Qemloss 3 offers more options but still triangulates. Theres also a free plugin called merge trigons or merge trigonX that can sorta convert back to quads. the problem is prediciting and controlling how its done.
Another option is to use something to retopologize the mesh such as 3dcoat or a couple of other plugins Ive seen that do that.

Appreciate the help. I am downloading demo of 3D Coat to see if that works.

The trueart page couldn't open but I did download StretchMesh. I just haven't tried it yet. I remember 3D Coat from before I jsut forgot about it until you mentioned something. Appreciate it. I even added it to the LW Resources page in the CG Society Forum. I did try 3D Coat and with some manipulation it works for what I need. The game engine that this is going into all ready converts everything into Triangles anyways.
What I was trying to do was make a high resolution model, layout the UV's and use the UV's map I laid out for the high resolution and apply it to the lower resolution one. I accomplished that by copy and pasting the low resolution model into the high resolution model and then merging points. The problem was I didn't lay out the UV's with Tri's it was with quads.
I just had to touch up all the other models. For one character it is okay, but for 13 it makes it time consuming. 3D Coat seems to be the best option since I have to texture all 13 models themselves. If I didn't have to texture I would stick with Headus UV Layout. Now I am going to purchase 3D Coat and this makes Headus UV obsolete. I appreciate the help.
