Stream speed & size

I have an upcoming event that I need to stream and need to find out what is the maximum .wmv size and speed that people have been able to achieve? I've got a base Tricaster running v2.5. The stream is going to be of a medical procedure and is going to be put up on an LCD projector in a conference. Our company has some pretty big pipes so I'm not too worried about big bandwidth. I've tried to create some custom profiles based on those provided but they don't work as planned. I've tried just upping the video speed to 512K but when I try it, it's only at 22K. I've tried just upping the image size and that doesn't work either. If anyone knows of any real bandwidth crushing settings that work, send them my way.:)
