Bob's Multicam on 5.3??

Anyone know if Bob's FX Multicam will work on 5.3 or SE 2.0??? Thanks for the insight. pmc

Bob Tasa wrote me himself and said that right now, his plug-ins will not work with SE 2. As of a last week, he doesn't have a copy of SE 2 to work with. Sure wish Newtek would give him one.

It has been said by NT that Multicam is already on the table for future development so I dont think they are going ot encourage third party applications that will provide it at this point. I'm just guessing here but it makes sense.

I heard that too, but that's still on the drawing board and a ways off at best. In the meantime, what are we to do besides using a third party application like Bob's plug-in or another NLE altogether?

I agree. I don't know how cooperative Newtek is as far as offering Bob a SDK. I have Multicam for VT4 so I cannot use it anyway if I buy SE 2. Hopefully, NT will do it sooner rather than later.
