Quicktime is 32bit only so no exporter in 64bit.
As for the other problems, no idea sorry.

I've been on a 64bit OS for a long time now, I use 32bit lightwave a lot when I need pluggins that are not 64bit friendly.

Thanks m8s, yeah, I think I'll work with both 32 & 64 from now on

64 bit gives me a 30% speed boost right off the top but the plugin problems are an issue for some.

My stupid question, can you run 32 bit LW under 64 bit Win7? If so, is there still the 4 gig limit to memory use?

If you are launching LW from a pined icon on the taskbar you'll see this, create your own shortcuts on the desktop or setup a quick launch folder.

Can do limit will be in palce but your LW will do much better cos the limit will apply for lw32 only not for the whole operating system. You should finish with at least few 100s MB of more memory for your objects. ;)

I've never ran out of memory in modeler, but I've hit memory limits in layout many times, even on 64bits.. I tend to abuse shadow maps
