Installing VT5.3 on brand new system...

Just upgraded my system and moved my VT5 board into it. When I try to install 5.3 or any of the earlier releases available on the download page, the install notifies me that I need to have an earlier version of VT Software installed.

Is the origional VT install available anywhere? I thought the VT5.3 was a full install and wasn't expecting this to happen. I have now clue where my origional VT disks are and would like to avoid a time consuming search for them if possible.

Alternatively, am I doing something dumb (wouldn't be the first time) that is causing this to happen?

VT5.3 is a full patch install which means that it contains all the changes for all the patches since 5.0. However, it is not a full program install so you will need to go back and install VT5.0 off the CDs then install 5.3.
