I have a problem trying to output MPEG 2 audio with the video when rendering a file for inclusion in a DVD. The audio track is not rendered or output with the file despite having the audio layers selected for it. There is no audio track in the resulting file at all.

This is being done at as a MPEG 2 file 4 x 3 File for NTSC.

What is wrong? It was working fine yesterday? Could this be a machine or hard drive issue or did a human undo something I have yet to find?:help:

Does this happen with everything, or with just one file?

Try rendering an AVI file with the DV codec and then importing that into your DVD application.

Try another option till you find one that works, and always note which ones work and which don't.

If you let NewTek know which ones work and which ones don't on fogbugz they can use that info to debug it.

Rather than start a new thread, I'll piggy back on this unanswered thread - which may be the same question.

In SE2, there is an option to render out m2v & ac3 but, no ac3 file shows in the location rendered to, though the m2v is there. Does SE2 not encode separate m2v and ac3 files?

I'd always used Tmpgenc to encode elementary streams for use in DVD Studio Pro rather than letting DVDSP encode it. Enable Audio is checked. Program and Transport streams both have audio but cannot be used in DVDSP
