Preset shelf

I have surface editor open & want to check out the different surfaces, but the preset shelf is empty. Do you have to load presets when installing LW?

Consider the presets that come with LW as begginners samples, starting points for your texturing.
The preset shelf is where you save copies of all the beatifull textures you make for future use.
