Is the SE2 upgrade available for immediate download upon purchasing from the NewTek store?
Does SE2 run for a limited time before it must be registered as SE1 did? I'd like to run it on both my workstation and laptop for a few days before I decide where it will permanently live.
Is the add-a-seat purchase option available for SE2? It was $150 for SE1.
Thanks,
Stivan

I would be nice if Newtek allowed SpeedEdit to run a) on a dongle (like lightwave) b) on two platforms (Like Adobe does with the Creative Suite), or c) with only one instance of the same serial number running simultaneously on the same network (like Apple does with Final Cut). I know that I keep SE on my laptop because I need it sometimes when I'm on the road, but would love to be able to use it on my one of my in-studio workstations when I'm not.
That said...
I do recognize the threat of piracy and am very willing to deal with this if it keeps Newtek in the black and producing the awesome goodness they seem to produce fairly consistently. :)

The add-a-seat only slightly mitigates this. It's not a great expense up front, but it becomes costly when it's time to upgrade. I'm not happy with this at all. I will never be running more than a single copy of SE at a time.
