I'm working with VT (2) and SX-8 module and when I'm switching between cameras randomly the image becomes extremly green, it happens in any camera any time. My inputs are components.
Any Ideas?
Thanks.

Do you go driectly to the PGM out, or first goto Preview, and then switch to PGM out? How does it look inside the Toaster Vision monitor?

I have encountered this exact issue before, and it only affected 'component' switching.
I would suggest your daughtercard is defective or in need of calibration.
As a test... when this occurs.. try selecting 'black' between switches. If this results in the Toaster once again re-syncing to your component input that was previously green.. then your Daughterboard is the problem.

I go directly to main (program).
This is the 3rd. card I test! so I think it most be something related to sync or configuration.
Do you work with components too?

You probably need to adjust the Component U/V deltas (forgot what the names are) in Preferences. It allows you to calibrate for the differences between the separate analog video input paths.
In VT3, you do "calibrate loopthrough" in the Procamp and it will do these for you automatically.

No French, is not about balance, the cameras are perfectly adjusted in the procamp and if you compare one with another with a wipe they are indentical, but when you start switching between cameras sudenly one of them apears green (any camara, any time).

Yes, but there are still two analog video paths into the VT. They have some differences between them which can only be compensated for in the "Preferences" area.
If you select the same Component source on Main and Preview, and hit TAKE, you may see differences on the VT Scope. These differences are accounted for in preferences.

Yes, I know what are you talking about but the problem is that once you have adjust everything in the procamp and the general preferences (uv offset), sudenly in the middle of the recording, without previous advice one of the cameras (that you saw ok before) turns green and the next time you switch ir it's ok again!
I think this could be a failure related with sync.

So you can adjust the U/V offset differences for component, select the same camera on Main and Preview, to a bunch of Takes and the signals look the same.... Then, much later, you start selecting that camera again and you begin to se signal differences, as if the calibration were "lost"?

You have the Idea, sudenly any of the cameras look like it lost the configuration and a little later when you switch the same camera looks good! and another one is failing.
Did ever happened to you?

It has never happened to me. This issue may have been fixed in VT3. But at least the info you gave me gives me something to look at.
