Hi.

I have the Tricaster Pro and one camera connected to input 1. I have set up input 1 as a tight shot using a virtual set. I would like to configure input 2 as a wide shot, again using the same camera that is connected to input 2.

Is this possible? If so, how do i do this? At the moment the only way i can go to a wide shot is selecting the relevant effect in the virtual studio options although the change is then instant.

Thanks
Dan

The only way to perform this with an SD model TriCaster is to split the source upstream of the system, and supply it to two inputs.

Just as a sidenote - TCXD300 allows this (without using a physical input to duplicate the signal) by means of it's "Virtual Inputs".

Just curious... are you just wanting to cut from a close up to a wide shot of the set? If so, just do that live on input 1 by clicking from close up to wide on your virtual set angle options.

or maybe I'm not fully understanding what you're trying to accomplish.

If so, just do that live on input 1 by clicking from close up to wide on your virtual set angle options.I think our friend is already doing that, unless I misunderstood: "At the moment the only way i can go to a wide shot is selecting the relevant effect in the virtual studio options although the change is then instant." I drew from that that he wants to use a transition.
