hi! this is my first attempt at character work and i have no clue how to animate... :(
any help would be appreciated.

any ideas to rig, i have followed instructions but i cant seem to make them work :(

Hey Oddgit.

Ok, first things first, it's a robot, so you don't need IK for a lot of it, which is a good thing! But the legs do probably need it. Just to make life easier.

Also, this one may be helpful, but it's for a whole character.. (Which, judging by your homepage, you're tired of doing! ;) )

Just remember that the view you draw your skelegons in, is the view that the bone will (by default) swing back and towards from.
Also, try looking at the: Characters/AdvancedCharacter.lws
just as a reference.
