lightwave layout changes to modeler

How can I save changes I did in LW layout with bones and put that back to modeler of a beer can in ones hand. Since I can not do that in modeler. I want to eventually bring that changed scene into Jimmy Rig from Modeler, as JR doesn't import scenes only modeler objects?

also check the Scene 2 Modeler script,
saves all objects in Layout and merges it down to 1 object.
