hi folks,
i read a bunch of tuts but i canīt find anything that fits my needs.
when i apply an image as a texture everything works fine until i move the objetct. it seems as if the texture stands while the object move and so the textur doenīt fit to the object when itīs moved. i think i tried every button but what the hell am i doing wrong? help me please!
thank in advance

I assume you are referring to Modeler and there this behaviour is normal for projected maps (since there is no differenc between world space and local object space). You won't see this in Layout. If you want the texture to stay in place, use UV maps.

"i think i tried every button"
...jeez, I've been using LW for a couple of years now and I've only pushed half of 'em :D
Seriously though, it sounds like you have the WORLD COORDINATES box checked. You'll find it by clicking on the 'T' next to colour to open up the texture panel...
Hope this helps,
Derek

if you tell about modeler is correct.
texture applied in modeler use center of modeler like universe center, and texture coord system.
Every parameters is referedd to modeler center, if you move obj, texture stay fix.
If you want to map on obj, then move and pose in modeler, you need to use UV map. (for example when you map leaf, or other obj which you want to deform or move from modeler.

It is the WORLD COORDINATES box checked... It allows textures to "move-through" objects when the object is moved.
