Well my guess would be......and keep in mind it's hard to tell without a profile. Is it Data from Star Trek the New Generation? My wife says it looks like Julian Lennon.

Later. Don

"I can't find your legs, I can't find your ****ing legs"
-John Rambo. First Blood.

Is it Sylvester Stallone? That's who the eyes and mouth remind me of.

I think that you should work on one side of the face and use the mirror tool, that way it will be symmetrical.

Your own face is not symmetrical either. I thought of commenting earlier on the model but I couldn't figure out who it was. The one positive thing I was going to say about it was I thought it was nice that the face was not symmetrical.

Thanks for looking fellas.

Don: Wrong guess, sorry.

Jack: This guys face was never symmetrical and he has, (in my opinion), got bug eyes and 'flat' lips.

Bionic: Your on the money - This means i can model mouths and eyes but the rest of it is s***.

The idea was to improve my organic modelling by doing someone who ought to be recognised,(yes I know Sly is a bit old hat, but fairly easy to recognise), I just fancied doing Sly. But its hell trying to find profiles and good frontal pics. Visited I don't know how many sites to get just a handful of barely useable pics.

Ah well! Back to the drawing board, lets see if I can get the rest of the face right.

Thanks again.

I have to ask.. what's going on under his chin? It almost looks like a reflection or something.

Nah, its just the edge of a quick and very dirty UV map I did for his face.

You should see the back of his head:D

Actually it looks just like my friend Pete, and he's bald so I guess you're done :)

I KNEW it! - First Blood was on TV last week, so it was fresh in my mind. :)

Actually, with more detail (wrinkles, frown lines around the mouth/cheeks etc) I think it's a pretty decent interpretation. I thought of Sly as soon as I saw the pic, because I've always noticed that he has a pretty asymetrical face. I'd say make the outside of his upper eyelids more droopy, clean up the texturing, slap the hair on (circa First Blood days - with bandana) and your done :)
