We're considering purchasing either a TriCaster Studio or VT5. I'm not sure if the answers are different depending on which product we purchase...
1. Is it possible to have multiple live inputs on a LiveSet? (For example, talent in front of green screen on Cam 1, and two TVs behind them with inputs from Cam 2 and Cam 3.)
2. Is it possible to put an alpha filter in front of a live input when displayed on a LiveSet? For example, reduce brightness/contrast to make it look more like a TV on a set, but show properly when brought up full screen.
Thanks!

We're considering purchasing either a TriCaster Studio or VT5. I'm not sure if the answers are different depending on which product we purchase...LiveSet's and their use is pretty similar in all of the SD models that support it, whether TC or VT[5]. (LiveSets in TriCaster TCXD300 are somewhat different, but as you didn't ask about that, I won't go into detail.)
1. Is it possible to have multiple live inputs on a LiveSet? (For example, talent in front of green screen on Cam 1, and two TVs behind them with inputs from Cam 2 and Cam 3.)Depending on the set design, you can have multiple sources. The sources can be drawn from the Switcher's Program, Preview, and Effects row selections, as well as Overlay/DSK. The majority of sets use one primary input (from Program) and a secondary input from Effects, which leaves the Preview row free for unhindered switching, and the Overlay/DSK channel equally free.
Custom sets designed > 2 inputs can be prepared using Aura (if you have it - ships with VT[5], hard to find otherwise), but LW generated custom sets only support Program and Effects inputs.
2. Is it possible to put an alpha filter in front of a live input when displayed on a LiveSet? For example, reduce brightness/contrast to make it look more like a TV on a set, but show properly when brought up full screen.I think you could fake that to a degree when designing the LiveSet, but it would be embedded, not adjustable once the set was compiled.
